Terms and conditions
1. This prize draw is open to residents of the UK mainland, except employees of Telegraph Media Group Limited and its group companies (“Promoter”), and The Really Useful Group Limited (“Prize Provider”), their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with the draw.
2. Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
3. Entries must be submitted via the web address tgr.ph/schoolofrock and entry is restricted to one per person. Once submitted, entries cannot be amended in any way.
4. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries or entries sent through agencies and third parties will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of despatch will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The winners will be drawn at random from all entries received by the closing date. The winner’s’ names and counties can be obtained by sending a sae to School of Rock Winners, Promotions Department, Telegraph Media Group, 111 Buckingham Palace Road, London SW1W 0DT within one month after the closing date of the prize draw.
5. All entries must be received by midnight on 31 December 2017.
6. The winners will be contacted within 14 working days of the closing date of the prize draw. Should the Promoter be unable to contact the winners or should the winners be unable to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prizes to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.
7. The prizes as described are available on the date of publication. Should any prize become unavailable, a substitute of equal value shall be provided.
8. DETAILS OF THE FIRST PRIZE
One winning entrant will win two tickets to see the School of Rock Musical in London with travel and accommodation provided. The prize packages comprises:
Return train travel for two people to London from your local mainline station;
Return transfers from a London station to the hotel. Transfers will be private and not shared with other passengers;
Overnight accommodation at the 4 star Bloomsbury Park Hotel, London based on two people sharing a twin or double room (subject to availability) with en suite facilities;
Breakfast for two people in the hotel restaurant;
Pre Theatre Dinner for two people at Balthazar restaurant, Covent Garden. The winner and friend will enjoy a 3 course meal from the set Prix Fixe menu with half a bottle of house wine and mineral water;
2x tickets to see The School of Rock Musical in London;
Meet and Greet with Cast and pictures; and
Selected School of Rock Merchandise.
9. The prizes must be taken as one package and the winner must redeem the prize before 31st March 2018.
10. The first prize does not include travel between the winner’s home and station, food and drink, personal expenditure or incidental costs, other than where mentioned.
11. Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the organiser and excludes Christmas, New Year, Valentines, Easter School Holidays and Bank Holidays (UK). Once confirmed, the booking cannot be amended. The winner and their guest must travel together at all times. At least one person must be over the age of 18 years. Travel will be by train, must be off peak and booked a minimum of 6 weeks in advance.
12. DETAILS OF THE THREE RUNNERS UP PRIZES
Three winning entrants will each win two tickets to see the School of Rock musical in London.
13. The runner up prizes do not include travel to or from the School of Rock musical in London, food and drink, personal expenditure or any incidental costs. The runners up must redeem the prize before 31st March 2018 and at least one person must be over the age of 18 years.
14. All elements of the prizes are subject to availability, non transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
15. The winners may be required to participate in reasonable publicity on behalf of the Promoter and Prize Provider.
16. Entrants’ data will be used for the purpose of administration of this prize draw and in accordance with the permissions granted or withheld at the point of entry.
17. Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
18. The Telegraph is responsible for the first part of the promotion, which is the publication and adjudication of the prize draw. Provision of all aspects of the prize will be made by the Prize Provider, save for the travel, dinner and accommodation, which are the responsibility of NDL on behalf of the Prize Provider.
19. These Terms and Conditions are to be interpreted in accordance with English law and any dispute arising out of these Terms or their subject matter is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
