The Game Fair celebrates its 60th anniversary this summer and the countdown to the largest annual outdoor countryside-themed event in the world is well under way.
To celebrate the special anniversary, Sainsbury’s magazine has teamed up with The Game Fair to give away ten pairs of adult tickets (worth £54 per pair in advance or £68 per pair on the day) to one day of the event, which is being held from Friday 27 July, to Sunday 29 July, at Ragley Hall in Warwickshire.
Organisers are expecting more than 120,000 visitors over the three days, and you could be there too. Hailed as ‘Glastonbury for the green welly brigade’, the annual festival of the great British countryside returns to Ragley Hall for the fourth time.

First held in 1958, The Game Fair has grown into the most comprehensive countryside festival of its kind in the world. It covers everything from archery, clay pigeon shooting and shopping, to equestrian, fishing, dogs and falconry – not to mention the food. You can try it all.
The James Martin Game Fayre Restaurant will be a relaxed deli-style experience with a menu created by the TV celebrity chef celebrating the distinct ingredients of the countryside. James will be there too, cooking, mingling with diners and sharing his passion for the great outdoors. There’s something for all the family to enjoy, and you can even bring your four-legged friend too.
In addition to the have-a-go events, children can enjoy fun-filled 45-minute workshops, which include fire building, shelter construction, open fire cooking, low ropes and more, while The Woodland Crèche operates a stay-and-play or full childcare facility.
