Reel Serene @SWG3 in collaboration with Skypark, is where Janus Rasmussen’s Kiasmos DJ Set meets animation and visual effects by Axis Studios. The line up includes a set by up and coming Scottish duo VanIves featuring their new single Positive.
Hot off a European tour, Janus Rasmussen plays his debut Kiasmos DJ Set at Glasgow’s SWG3, blending minimal techno rhythms with animation by Axis Studios, a multi-award winning animation and visual effects collective, comprising three artistically unique studios: Axis Animation, axisVFX and Flaunt. The studios work extensively across film, TV, video games and themed entertainment for Channel 4, Netflix, Amazon Studios and Universal Studios.
Janus Rasmussen, is one half of the live electronic duo Kiasmos who have built their sound around a robust variety of drum machines, synthesisers and tape delays to result in a signature, deeply textured rhythm.

VanIves are Roan Ballantine and Stuart Ramage. They create music by sampling family VHS tapes and building songs around the memories attached to those moments, with soaring vocals, routed in a hip-hop influenced production.
