April 14 sees the release of The Handmaiden, the new film by Oldboy director Park Chan-wook. Based on the hit novel Fingersmith by Sarah Waters, The Handmaiden tells of Sook-Hee, a young pickpocket who is recruited for a con involving a wealthy heiress. Sook-Hee is sent to work as handmaiden to Lady Hideko in order to trick her out of a huge inheritance, but that plan falls apart when the two women start developing feelings for each other.
To celebrate the release of The Handmaiden we have a bundle of goodies to give away. One lucky winner will receive tickets to the film at a Curzon cinema, a T-shirt, a set of badges, a copy of Fingersmith, a movie poster and a collection of brilliant Curzon Artificial Eye DVDs.
