The author has written in praise of longarm quilting. The story of her introduction to quilting and her progress is interspersed throughout. Most of the book is a collection of detailed photos of her work, with occasional explanations for her choice of the threads and specific designs. The quilting is intricate with beautiful patterns on both patchwork and wholecloth quilts. They are Modern Art quilts, sometimes on the bold designs of her friend Tula Pink.
