AS COLOURFUL AND EXCITING as the capital's world-renowned theatre scene, the Theatre Not afternoon tea at the OXO Tower Brasserie is a thespian's dream. Each round is inspired by a different show or theatre and part of the fun is working out the inspiration behind each cake or cocktail.
The first act opens at the Globe with a sour cherry and bergamot­-filled skull and a goblet of Hamlet's poison. For the main act, a quartet of cakes has been casted in some of London's most famous shows and paired with a complimentary cocktail. Production concludes with a smash-hit gingerbread biscuit and a pot of tea – because this is London after all. And as for the final encore? Well, that's kept as a surprise.
