Disney Competition Rules – Cars Racers Disneyland Paris Competition
We are offering you the opportunity to win a money can’t buy holiday at Disneyland Paris which
features an exclusive event ‘Cars Racers Weekend’ at Walt Disney Studios Park taking place 10 –
12 November 2017.
How to enter: Please login to your Disney account or register to enter.
You will be required to watch a short video and answer the multiple
choice question. All correct answers will then be entered into a prize
draw.

Restrictions:
You must be 18 or over to enter.
Open to residents of United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.
You must be able to travel to Disneyland Paris from 10 November 2017
to 12 November 2017.
Prize Details: GRAND PRIZE
One (1) holiday package to Disneyland Paris for up to four (4) people
(minimum of two (2) adults and (2) children aged 3 – 11) to take place 10th
– 12th November 2017 including;
- Return transport to Disneyland Paris, travelling by Eurostar in
Standard class to Disneyland Paris from London St Pancras,
Ashford International or Ebbsfleet International or travelling
return economy class from select regional airports to Paris
Charles de Gaulle or Paris Orly, including return transfers
between the relevant airport and Disneyland Paris if applicable.
- Two (2) nights’ accommodation sharing one (1) standard room
sleeping up to 4 people at a Disney Hotel chosen in Disney’s sole
discretion including continental breakfast.
- Four (4) Day Park Hopper tickets valid for entry into the
Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.
- Meals for the duration of the three (3) day holiday (for the
avoidance of doubt the following meals will be provided three (3)
lunches and two (2) dinners for up to four (4) people).
- Access to privatised viewing areas for 25th Anniversary shows
(Disney Illuminations, The Starlit Princess Waltz, Mickey
presents: Happy Anniversary Disneyland Paris).
- Access to Cars Racers privatised event at Walt Disney Studios,
including participation in the Piston Cup race, subject to race
regulations.
(i) Participants in the Piston Cup Race may only include one (1)
child per family accompanied by one (1) adult.
(ii) The minimum height for participation is 1.1 metres and
participants must be aged 6 years or older.
Terms:
- Any costs incurred in addition to package holiday elements
listed above shall be incurred at the prize winner’s and/or
their guests’ expense including but not limited to: UK
transfers, alcoholic beverages, telephone charges, room
service, laundry service, excursions, tips, souvenirs, and any
other incidental expenses.
- Travel insurance is not included but is recommended.
- The winner and all of their guests must travel at the same time
on the same routing. Any children in the group must be
accompanied by their parent/legal guardian aged 18 or over.
- Once travel is booked the winner and guests are subject to the
booking conditions of the carrier.
- Participants are responsible for ensuring that they hold valid
passports and any necessary visas or other necessary travel
documentation for the trip.
- Age and height restrictions may apply to some attractions.
Parks, attractions and/or entertainment may change
operating hours or be closed due to refurbishing, capacity,
weather or special events and may otherwise change or be
discontinued without any notice and without liability to
Disney.
- Package holiday and all elements within may not be sold,
traded, transferred, rescheduled to dates not within the
fulfilment period set forth above, or refunded.
- Venue may on occasion have to conduct security searches to
ensure your safety. By entering the venue you agree to
comply with any security requirements in force.
Conditions:
Date, location and prize elements, such as Disney Hotel and timings may
be subject to change at Disney’s sole discretion.

Ten (10) runners-up will each receive a Disney goody bag.
Winner
Selection
process
One (1) winner will be randomly selected from all correct and eligible
entries and contacted by email on or before 17th July 2017. The selected
winner will then have 3 days to accept the prize terms and conditions
(including confirmation of being able to attend Disneyland Paris 10th –
12th November 2017). Failure to do so within the allotted time will result
in forfeiting the prize and an alternative winner being drawn.
Prize
Fulfilment:
Once the winner has been selected and accepted the prize terms and
conditions they will be contacted via email by a representative of Disney
Destinations International.
The winner will be provided with elements within the prize package and
a travel questionnaire which the winner will have to complete by 30th
September 2017 (6 weeks prior to travel).
The travel questionnaire will outline personal information such as
passport details for all travelling parties and request three (3) preferred
departure points from the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland from
which to travel to Paris. Once the winner has confirmed. The location and
travel times will be selected by a Disney Destinations International
representative depending on availability. Once the winner has confirmed
acceptance of the travel times suggested by Disney Destinations
International it will be booked and a confirmation letter outlining all
confirmed elements of the holiday will be sent.
The 10 (10) runners up will each receive their prize within twenty-eight
(28) days of the Closing Date of the competition via recorded delivery.
Please ensure your correct postal address is included in the specified
field when entering the competition. Where no address is listed on your
Disney account we will contact you by email to confirm your postal
address. If you do not respond and provide an address within seven (7)
days of the date of first attempt at contact, Disney reserves the right to
withdraw the prize entitlement and award to a substitute winner.

General Terms & Conditions for Prize Draws and Competitions
By participating you and (where applicable) your Parent or guardian agree to the
requirements set out in the Competition Rules, the following General Terms and Conditions
and all promotional materials.
1. Eligibility.
(a) You must have a valid Disney Account to enter.
(b) If you are under 18 (eighteen) and the competition is open to you (please check the
Competition Rules or the website as some of our competitions have age restrictions)
and you do not have a Disney Account then we may need your parent or guardian's
permission before we can activate your account and accept your entry. Your entry is
not valid unless your new account has been activated before the Closing Date. Please
always get your parent or guardian’s permission before entering and please always get
the bill payer's permission before going online or calling to enter.
(c) Not open to employees (or their immediate families) of Disney, its agencies or anyone
else professionally associated with this competition.
(d) Maximum one entry per person unless otherwise stated. Entries via agents or third
parties or use of multiple identities and email addresses are not permitted. Use of
automated entries, votes or other programs is prohibited and all such entries (or
votes) will be disqualified.
(e) Entries must be completed by the Closing Date.
(f) Disney reserves the right at any time to request proof of identity, to verify eligibility
conditions, or to award any prize to the winner in person or a substitute.
2. Personal Information.
(a) To enter we will ask you to either login to your Disney Account or sign up to open a
Disney Account. Your personal information will be used in accordance with Disney’s
current published Privacy Policy (click here to view) and may be passed to our agents
to administer the competition or send out prizes. We may also use your personal
information to promote the competition and Disney products and services (including
the products and services of any partner sponsoring or otherwise participating in the
competition) in any media including, without limitation, TV, online and publishing
channels and social media platforms.
(b) Personal information will only be used for direct marketing purposes if you have
consented to receive future marketing from Disney (you may have already done this if
you have registered your personal information with Disney previously).
3. Winner Selection.
(a) For prize draws, the winner(s) will be selected in a random draw to take place within
10 working days of the closing date from all correct/valid entries received.
(b) For prize competitions based on skill, winners will be selected by a judge or panel of
judges based on the judging criteria set out in the Competition Rules or the competition
only pages.
(c) For prize competitions which ask you to submit, upload or otherwise make available
original content to be judged:
Disney has the right but not the obligation to moderate all entries and reserves
the right not to accept entries which are technically unacceptable, contain
inappropriate material (i.e. material which is defamatory, obscene or
otherwise offensive) or which breach any of these Competition Rules or
General Terms and Conditions.
By entering any competition you (and your parent or guardian if you are under
18) confirm and agree (aa) that you and they are the owner of the content
submitted or have the necessary rights and permissions without the need for
payment to any other person or entity, (bb) the content does not knowingly
copy or infringe the rights of any other person (cc) that you have the
permission of all individuals featured in the content and (dd) Disney is
permitted to reproduce and use the entry submitted by you on any media
(including without limitation, TV, online and publishing channels and social
media platforms) anywhere in the world and without a time limit in order to
carry out the competition and select winners (which may include publishing
your personal information and your content for a public vote to select finalists
or the winner and any runners-up) and for any and all related promotional
purposes to promote the competition and to promote Disney in general
without further notice to you, with or without attribution, and without the
requirement of permission from or payment to you or any other person or
entity.
(d) Disney reserves the right to choose a short-list of entries and publish these finalists on
the competition website. Publication of any entry does not mean that you have won.
(e) Competition entries and/or shortlisted entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges
and a winner (and runners-up) for each available prize will be selected according to
the judging criteria set out in the Competition Rules or on the competition entry page.
The judges shall have the sole and absolute discretion to decide on the award of each
prize.
(f) Disney reserves the right to ask winners (or their parent or guardian) to sign a written
release, request proof of identity and verify the entry before awarding any prize.
(g) Disney's decision to select any winner or runner-up is final and we reserve the right
not to correspond on any matter.
4. Prize Confirmation & Acceptance.
(a) If at any time (i) we require a response from any winner (or their parent or guardian)
before awarding any prize and no response is received after we have made reasonable
efforts to make contact and within a reasonable period of time (or by the dates set out
in the Competition Rules), or (ii) a winner (or their parent or guardian) declines to
accept the prize; or (iii) Disney is unable to contact the winner’s parent or guardian;
or (iv) the requested documentation stated in the Competition Rules is not received
Disney in time; or (v) the winner becomes unavailable; Disney reserves the right to
withdraw the prize entitlement and award the prize to a substitute winner chosen at
the same time as the first name(s) were selected or judged to be a winner.
(b) Any prize which is returned or cannot be delivered will be used in Disney’s sole
discretion for another competition or given to charity. Disney has no responsibility to
anyone who has not responded.
5. Prize Fulfilment.
(a) No cash or other alternative prizes are available, except that in the event of
circumstances outside of its control Disney (and/or any sponsor partner providing any
prize) reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value. Prizes
cannot be transferred or sold, under any circumstance but can be transferred if a
family member is entering on behalf of a child.
(b) Unless otherwise stated in the prize description, winners are solely responsible for all
personal additional costs and expenses associated with claiming the prize.
6. Cancellation or Disqualification.
(a) Disney reserves the right to disqualify:
late, misdirected, incomplete, corrupted, lost, illegible or invalid entries;
entries where appropriate parental authorisation or a requested release formis
or was not provided; or
entrants whose conduct (and/or whose Parent’s conduct) may bring Disney
into disrepute (as Disney may decide in its discretion).
(b) Disney reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the competition or
extend or resume the entry period or disqualify any participant at any time without
giving advance notice and will do so if it cannot be guaranteed that the competition
can be carried out fairly or correctly for technical, legal or other reasons or if Disney
suspects that any person has been manipulating entries or the results, or has provided
false information or has acted unethically in any other way.
7. Disney’s Liability.
(a) For online entries or online public voting: Disney cannot guarantee continuous,
uninterrupted or secure access to the websites (including its Facebook, Twitter or
other social media pages) and is not responsible for any disruption due to technical
problems or otherwise due to events outside of its reasonable control. In the event of
technical problems, entries or votes will be void and the winner will be selected by a
panel of judges or such other fair method of selection.
(b) Disney has arranged this competition in good faith but, to the fullest extent allowed by
law, accepts no responsibility for loss or damages as a result of anyone participating in
the competition or any aspect of any prize awarded.
(c) Disney is not responsible for and does not endorse or guarantee, the opinions, views,
advice or recommendations posted on its websites (including its Facebook, Twitter or
other social media pages).
8. Entry through your Facebook account
If the competition requires entry via Facebook any liability incurred by Facebook shall be
governed by, and limited to, the applicable provisions of the Facebook Statement of Rights
and Responsibilities. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated
with Facebook. By entering you are providing your information to Disney or its agents and
not to Facebook. We (and/or our agents) will collect your unique Facebook User ID so that
we can administer your entry i.e. record your entry and randomly select a winner.
9. Email safety.
In the event that Disney wishes to contact you (or a winner’s parent or guardian) in
connection with your entry we will do so via an email ending in 'disney.com' or by phone
with a follow up e-mail. Any email which appears to come from Disney but using a different
ending (e.g. hotmail.com, yahoo.com etc) should be treated with suspicion and forwarded to
Customer Services. DO NOT respond or act on any e-mail if you are not sure that it comes
from Disney. If you are in any doubt please contact Customer Services.
10. Publicity & Filming.
(a) Winners and/or runners-up may be required to participate in related publicity
without further payment or permission but you agree that Disney may publish first
name or surname and initial, age, town/city and/or likeness.
(b) If filming is required the winners and/or their parent or guardian may be asked to
consent to being filmed (the “Contribution”). If consent is given the winner and/or
their parent/guardian acting on behalf of the winner who is a child shall assign to
Disney all rights of whatsoever nature, including all copyright in respect of the
Contribution and grant all further consents or licences necessary to enable the fullest
use of the Contribution throughout the universe and without any time limit by any and
all means in any and all media, whether now known or hereafter developed, without
liability or acknowledgement.
11.Winners' details.
Winner’s details will be available upon request and may be published on the Winner's
Gallery after the prize(s) are awarded. For information regarding the names of the winners
(and, if applicable, their winning entries) go to the Disney Winners' Gallery or send a
stamped and addressed envelope to the Customer Services address on the competition entry
page quoting “Winners List” and the name of the competition. Unfortunately we are unable
to return any entries sent to us by post.
12.No purchase necessary.
13.The laws of England and Wales apply and any disputes will be dealt with in the English courts
only.
