Win a Pair of Tickets To See The Unthanks At The Brindley The Skinny

Mercury-nominated folk group The Unthanks return in May with their tenth album How Wild The Wind Blows – The Songs and Poems of Molly Drake. If you're already familiar with the name from that title, chances are it's as the mother of acclaimed and mysterious singer-songwriter Nick Drake, the artist behind seminal albums such as Five Leaves Left and Bryter Layter. Here, however, The Unthanks shine a light on her own extraordinary songwriting talents on what they regard as their best album yet.
Drake's work never saw commercial release in her lifetime – in fact, it was some seven years after her death in 1993, aged 77, that the documentary A Skin Too Few first met with public exposure – but The Unthanks' reimaginings breathe new life into her songs and help ensure that she will become regarded as far more than merely a curious footnote in explaining the enormous talent of her son.
The Unthanks tour the album throughout April and May, visiting The Brindley in Runcorn on Wednesday 10 May. You can buy tickets for the show here, priced £20, but we've got a pair to give away right here! To enter, simply fill in the form below with the correct answer to the following question:
