After a sold out run at Sadler’s Wells this Christmas, Matthew Bourne’s reimagining of the popular fairytale will be screened in cinemas on May 15 followed by a Q&A session with Sir Matthew himself led by dance and theatre critic Sarah Crompton, which will be broadcast live to cinemas nationwide from the Curzon Soho. Probably Britain’s most popular choreographer, Bourne set Cinderella during the Blitz in London, her Prince is a RAF pilot and the ball takes place at the historical Café de Paris, that we know gets destroyed during a bomb raid…
