A fantastic play area has opened, featuring a miniature replica of the hall and a wooden ship complete with cabins and a sail, connected by a rope bridge.
The outside area also boasts a charming wooden trail, complete with bridges, swings and obstacles, which makes a fun challenge for adults as well as children. You can also see a growing family of animals including rabbits, goats, hens, pigs, and even bees who are busy in their hives producing delicious honey for the hall.
Two rooms in the West Wing have been transformed into Dottie’s Wafflery, a waffle house, and ice cream parlour, proving extremely popular with children and adults alike.
The main restaurant is another gem, with an extensive menu featuring ingredients grown in the hall’s gardens and from neighbouring Lancashire producers. There is also a fully stocked bar that even serves the hall’s own Merlot.
