The Alnwick Garden in Northumberland is one of the world’s most exciting contemporary gardens, with possibly the largest cherry orchard in the world to feature the ‘Tai-Haku’ tree, also known as the Great White Japanese Cherry. A large and sturdy tree, it has snow-like clusters of flowers appearing in April and early May.
