By the time the building work was coming to an end we knew that we needed help with the cleaning. Hubby and I had very little energy left and the extension, although beautiful, had so much that needed to be cleaned. The supplied their own cleaning products, even bringing a mop and hoover with them, and I happily left them to it.
When I came back the house was sparkling. The floor was the most noticeable part for me as it had gone from being caked in dust and plaster to being so clean. The washing machine, that had lived through the building work looked shiny and new and all of the cabinets were dust free. It looked like the extension I had imagined – and I couldn’t have been happier.
Our lounge and hallway were also dust free, with all the surfaces cleaned, all the windows cleaned inside and even our sofa pulled out and cleaned underneath – I had forgotten what a dust free house looked like but Fantastic Services gave us a lovely clean home again – and I really could have cried. It was such a relief after months of building work.
