Win 1 of 5 LPs of Felicja Blumental performing Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No.1 Music-News.com

"All told, it brings a well-worn work to life, adding freshness and vitality. At a time when vinyl is making a comeback, this will surely be something to treasure for LP aficionados." MusicWeb International
Felicja Blumental performs Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No.1 in B-flat minor (Op.23) with the Orchestra of the Vienna Musikgesellschaft, conducted by Michael Gielen. Originally recorded in 1957, the Concerto has been reissued on 180g vinyl and retains a vivid, transparent and spacious sound due to its remastering, whilst still preserving the authenticity of the original recording.
Brana Records is dedicated to the restoration of the wonderful rare recordings by the Polish/Brazilian pianist, Felicja Blumental. One of the 20th Century's outstanding pianists, Blumental's repertoire was wide and adventurous as she remarkably managed to champion lesser known composers whilst also stirring admiration for her interpretations of more established composers, notably Chopin and Mozart. Many of these recordings are now restored on Brana Records and all CD covers feature the fine art prints of Blumental's husband, Markus Mizne.
