We have 30 Noble Isle Fragrance Samplers to give away, each containing four deluxe travel sizes of their Bath & Shower Gels
We’re revelling in a new treat as we head for the shower of a morning (or linger in a long bath in the evenings after a day in the garden or with the horses in Sarah’s case). There’s something so luxurious about having Noble Isle’s charming caddy of scented Bath & Shower Gels to choose from.
You may well find, however, that what’s yours is his, since one option is Whisky & Water. Noble Isle (nobleisle.com) has been dubbed ‘Britain in a Bottle’ as the company turns to traditional British sources for all its fragrance ingredients. After a globetrotting past, Noble Isle Creative Director Katy Simpson became a country girl, spending weekends walking her dogs Hoagie and Slippers (West Scots) and foraging around her Buckinghamshire home for seasonal plants. Her passion for this ‘noble isle’ led her on adventures the length and breadth of England, Scotland and Wales, also Ireland, to find inspiration for the fragrances.

Whisky & Water features natural extract of malted barley from Balvenie Distillery in Dufftown. (Win points for knowing it harvests and malts its own barley to produce single malt Scotch whiskies – ‘smooth, honeyed, complex…’)
Perfect for us right now is Summer Rising, with its soft wafts of organic elderflower and gooseberry from the Victorian Lost Gardens at Heligan in Cornwall. Then again you might choose Willow Song, as fresh as the Spring, with water lily and willow from the medieval town of Lavenham. More expedition ideas here as the willow bark comes from the Lavenham Woodland Project. The water lilies are plucked, Noble Isle tells us, from the 15th Century spring-fed lake at Lavenham Hall, now featuring a Sculpture Garden.
The fourth fragrance is Fireside and if the summer goes on being a bit more wintry than we could wish, we’ll be picking out this wonderfully wood-smoky aroma (actually created with red, yellow and white beets from the organic garden at The Bell at Skenfrith in Wales – another must to visit).
This little treasure chest is just a taste of the Noble Isle range, which includes hand wash, hand/ body lotions, hair care and home fragrance including reed diffusers.
