1994’s The Flintstones brought the modern Stone Age family to the live-action big screen.
The hit movie starred John Goodman as Fred Flintstone and Rick Moranis as Barney Rubble in a Steven Spielberg production. Although other actors were considered, John Goodman was always the Fred Flintstone of choice and if he had turned down the role the film would not have been made.
After an aptitude test mix-up, Fred Flintstone (John Goodman) trades his job as a Slate & Company Bronto-crane operator for a vice presidency. But there’s trouble brewing in Bedrock: An evil executive (Kyle MacLachlan) and his sinister secretary (Halle Berry) are now plotting to use Fred as the fall guy in an embezzlement scheme!
