Who can enter the competition?The prize draw is open to individuals aged 18 or over who are residents of the United Kingdom. Each person may only enter once per email address. Employees, agents, and affiliates of Discover Rutland and The Barnsdale, as well as their immediate family members and anyone professionally connected to the promotion, are not eligible to participate.
When does the competition close?The competition runs from October 21, 2024, to December 31, 2024. Entries received after December 31, 2024, will not be considered.
How can someone enter the competition?Participants must complete the entry form available on the Discover Rutland prize draw page. No purchase is required to enter.
What is the prize, and what is included?The prize is a luxurious one-night stay for two at The Barnsdale Hotel in Rutland, valued at over £450. The package includes:
- Dinner, bed, and breakfast for two people.
- Two 60-minute spa treatments during the stay.
- Accommodation in the best double room available at the time of booking.
The prize must be redeemed by May 31, 2025, excluding bank holidays, and is subject to availability. It cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash, or used in conjunction with other offers.
How will the winner be selected and notified?The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received by the closing date. The winner will be notified via email within 14 days after the competition ends. If the winner does not respond within 14 days, an alternate winner may be selected.
What is the total prize pool amount?The total prize pool is valued at over £450, encompassing the one-night luxury stay, dinner, breakfast, and spa treatments for two at The Barnsdale Hotel.
What additional terms apply to the prize?The winner must provide proof of their win when booking and agree to participate in promotional activities related to the prize draw, such as sharing their name, photo, and prize details on social media and other promotional channels. The winner is responsible for their own transportation and any additional expenses during the stay.
